         <h3>Participate in Apache Meet Up and BarCamp Beijing</h3>

<p>Join Apache in creating <strong>Apache Meet Up Beijing</strong> on Friday, 5 December.  We&#8217;re inviting local open source developers to share their skills and knowledge during the meet-up.  Two hours of the day will be dedicated to 20 minute sessions presented by local open source experts.  If you would like to participate, please <a href="http://us.apachecon.com/c/accn2008/participate">send us your idea</a>.</p>

<h3>Help make BarCamp Beijing happen</h3>

<p>Experts of all talents and stripes, not just open source software developers, are invited to participate in this year&#8217;s <a href="http://barcamp.org/BarCampBeijing">BarCamp Beijing</a> to be held the day after the meet-up on Saturday, 6 December.  Visit the BarCamp <a href="http://barcamp.org/BarCampBeijing">wiki</a> for more information on how to participate.  All are welcome!</p>

         <p>Apache Meet-Up Beijing begins today!  The <a href="http://us.apachecon.com/c/accn2008/schedule">schedule</a> is online and registration still open!  If you cannot make it to the Intel research center today, please join us tomorrow for BarCamp Beijing.</p>
